About Me

Hi, my name is Randy Hill and I am just one of thousands of people around the world, tired and frustrated with the lack of consideration that is displayed by a growing "demographic" that I call, "the great unwashed and ill-mannered." People who can't seem to get outside their little world long enough to see the stress that they create on the rest of the population.

I've created this blog and online store as an outlet for this pent-up frustration...and also to have a little devious fun while I'm at it!

Have fun and keep it down while you're in here. Thanks.

[When Randy isn't whining about noisy and rude people, he dreams up designs in his studio at Hill Design Studios. A native Texan, Randy resides in the wilds of the Pacific Northwest with his wife Dawn and four cats]

Your cell phone can double as a flashlight

It’s a long headline I know, but it perfectly describes our trip to the movies last night. We went to see “Blades of Glory” (which is hilarious by the way) last night. I noticed as you walk into the movie theater, there’s a little sign hosted by Cingular that says, “Please let the actors talk […]

Sunday, May 6th, 2007

InfoWorld has updated their original 10 Cell Phone Commandments. That’s what I’m talkin’ about. 1. Thou shalt not dial while driving 2. Thou shalt not wear thy earpiece when thou art not on thy phone 3. Thou shalt not speak louder on thy cell phone than thou would on any other phone 4. Thou shalt […]

Cell phones, Sushi and Sticky Fingers

Friday, May 4th, 2007

You know who you are. My wife and I went out for sushi in Salem, Oregon tonight with visions of California rolls dancing through our heads. This is now one of our favorite places to eat and you had to show up tonight and take the fun out of it. We were in a booth; […]

“Loud People in Quiet Places…”

Monday, April 30th, 2007

The following is from a blog called, “Tuesdays With Morris.” Enjoy! To me, coffeehouses are meant to be sacred places. A place of semi-quiet solitude. A place where friends can gather to discuss world affairs, philosophy, theology, politics. A place where you can simply put on your headphones and get lost in a book while […]
