About Me

Hi, my name is Randy Hill and I am just one of thousands of people around the world, tired and frustrated with the lack of consideration that is displayed by a growing "demographic" that I call, "the great unwashed and ill-mannered." People who can't seem to get outside their little world long enough to see the stress that they create on the rest of the population.

I've created this blog and online store as an outlet for this pent-up frustration...and also to have a little devious fun while I'm at it!

Have fun and keep it down while you're in here. Thanks.

[When Randy isn't whining about noisy and rude people, he dreams up designs in his studio at Hill Design Studios. A native Texan, Randy resides in the wilds of the Pacific Northwest with his wife Dawn and four cats]

Parking lot rage is all the rage

Monday, February 23rd, 2009

Manners Lowered Brit’s Chances of Survival on Titanic

Monday, January 26th, 2009

I found a great story on the folks who died during the sinking of the Titanic. Apparently, if you were British, you were polite and let women and children go on first while you waited patiently in line. If you were American, you elbowed you way on to the life raft. Read here

Europe Allows Cell Phone Use On Airlines

Monday, April 21st, 2008

In what has got to be the stupidest decision of the new millennium, The European Commission have issued new rules that pave the way for mobile phone calls on air flights. Air France seems to be the only one to offer this service thus far. British Airlines and Lufthansa are taking a “wait and see” […]

Talking on your cell phone while driving can be hazardous to your health

Thursday, March 13th, 2008

I must admit that I’m guilty of often talking on my cell phone while I’m driving somewhere, just to kill time. Not good. It doesn’t take Einstein to help you figure out that driving while talking on your cell phone (either hands on or hands off) definitely makes it easier for you to space out […]

Understanding Chinese culture

Friday, February 8th, 2008

I ran across a great primer on Chinese culture today. It comes courtesy of the Economic Times website. China is said to be a collectivist society, with close and committed member ‘groups’ . Loyalty is paramount and there exist strong relationships. China, like all other Asian countries, has the highest respect for tradition, fulfilling social […]
