About Me

Hi, my name is Randy Hill and I am just one of thousands of people around the world, tired and frustrated with the lack of consideration that is displayed by a growing "demographic" that I call, "the great unwashed and ill-mannered." People who can't seem to get outside their little world long enough to see the stress that they create on the rest of the population.

I've created this blog and online store as an outlet for this pent-up frustration...and also to have a little devious fun while I'm at it!

Have fun and keep it down while you're in here. Thanks.

[When Randy isn't whining about noisy and rude people, he dreams up designs in his studio at Hill Design Studios. A native Texan, Randy resides in the wilds of the Pacific Northwest with his wife Dawn and four cats]

Mind Your Movie Manners

Monday, July 30th, 2007

My thanks today goes out to guest writer, Indigo, for sharing the following wisdom with our readers. Ah, nothing like a rainy Friday to go to the local movie theater and see something funny to help forget the long week. It was a particularly draining week, so perhaps a trip out to see The Simpsons […]

It’s all the rage…road rage that is.

Friday, July 27th, 2007

I think everyone has felt it at one time or another. I’m talking about that urge to pay back the stupid jerk that pulled the dangerous move in the car in front of you that almost got you killed. If you could just…just…well, murder is out of the question. How about slamming the brakes on […]

I live in a driver’s ed film

Wednesday, July 25th, 2007

I live in a driver’s ed film. At least, it seems that way. For some reason, people throughout this great city that I live in, love to take risks. If they need to make a turn…they make a turn. It doesn’t matter that I am mere seconds away from crashing into the side of their […]

How to use a cell phone in a restaurant – 5 tips

Thursday, July 19th, 2007

  1) Don’t. 2) If you have to bring the phone inside with you (emergency only), switch the ringer to vibrate before you leave the car. 3) If you must answer the phone in the restaurant, use your “inside voice” and don’t shout. The person on the other end of the phone will still hear […]

Thou dankish boil-brained clack-dish!

Wednesday, July 18th, 2007

Next time you feel the need to hurl a nasty epithet or two at an offending driver, cell-yeller, starer, etc.; consider firing off an insult created by the, “Shakespearean Insult Generator.” What? You don’t like today’s blog entry? So, sue me, “Thou clouted knotty-pated foot-licker!”

Reader: “Society as a whole is getting ruder and ruder.”

Tuesday, July 17th, 2007

The latest reader rant: I think society as a whole is getting ruder and ruder. Usually the rudest people I ever encounter are those in cars. They cut you off, flip your off then keep on their way. But, now they are getting personal. I can count on both my hands and a few of […]

Get in the habit – Turn off your cell phone

Monday, July 16th, 2007

Here’s a cool little habit that will help you make friends wherever you go. Turn off your cell phone. Turn it off in the restaurant. Turn it off in the bookstore. Turn it off in church. Turn it off in the movie. It’s an easy habit to establish if you make the effort. Watch. Pick […]

Grandma Rage

Wednesday, July 11th, 2007

I was on my way into work this morning and came to a place on the street that changes from two lanes to one lane. It’s your last chance to beat all the slower traffic. I revved up my car and went for it. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a red […]

The Majority of Flyers Are Against Cells in Flight

Tuesday, July 10th, 2007

With the technology becoming available that will make cell phone use during mid-flight possible, Maritz Research conducted a survey to test the attitude of U.S. airline passengers to using cell phones in the air. Although some people can’t seem to live without their Blackberries and cell phones, popular opinion is that fellow fliers should continue […]

You’re coming in, loud and clear.

Monday, July 9th, 2007

I went for a nice quiet lunch today to read the paper and catch up with the rest of the world. I had my paper, an iced Americano (it is summer after all) and my best chilled out attitude. Then they showed up and sat down next to me. “Loud” and “louder.” It was a […]
