About Me

Hi, my name is Randy Hill and I am just one of thousands of people around the world, tired and frustrated with the lack of consideration that is displayed by a growing "demographic" that I call, "the great unwashed and ill-mannered." People who can't seem to get outside their little world long enough to see the stress that they create on the rest of the population.

I've created this blog and online store as an outlet for this pent-up frustration...and also to have a little devious fun while I'm at it!

Have fun and keep it down while you're in here. Thanks.

Were you born in a barn?! Using common sense and courtesy at the grocery store.

By Randy | January 13, 2008

Yesterday I got the following note from my friend Jas. I asked if I could share it with you, because it seems like manners and courtesy in public places continues to spiral downward at an alarming rate:

“Yesterday I was in line cashing a handful of checks (yea…I get paid weekly but I’m also a big procrastinator) and I saw a sign that made me think of you:

Please stand a few feet from the person in front of you – Thanks, Management

Though they did need another sign for this rude fellow. He opened the freezer and grabbed some Cool Whip out of the freezer….and left it OPEN! He headed straight for the registers and waited in line. I watched, hoping he had some common sense..but he didn’t budge as he stood in line. He only had a few things in his hand but the door could have been easily closed. I walked over and closed it – kinda peeved he didn’t bother to close the door. He didn’t even stop to think about how much money the store would have lost because of ruined food. Geez, never knew people to be lazy.”

This is just one little instance. Multiply this by the thousands of little annoying and inconsiderate little things that people do in grocery stores around the world and you will arrive at the answer why I hate going grocery shopping every week. People!
