Talking on your cell phone while driving can be hazardous to your health
By Randy | March 13, 2008
I must admit that I’m guilty of often talking on my cell phone while I’m driving somewhere, just to kill time. Not good. It doesn’t take Einstein to help you figure out that driving while talking on your cell phone (either hands on or hands off) definitely makes it easier for you to space out and have an accident. I’m hardly a multi-tasker either, so I know if I’m talking on the phone while I’m driving, I’m pretty oblivious to what is happening in traffic.
We’re told that if you have to talk on your phone when you are in your car, then pull over to the side of the road or into a parking lot to have your conversation. Sounds like a pretty good idea to me.
