About Me

Hi, my name is Randy Hill and I am just one of thousands of people around the world, tired and frustrated with the lack of consideration that is displayed by a growing "demographic" that I call, "the great unwashed and ill-mannered." People who can't seem to get outside their little world long enough to see the stress that they create on the rest of the population.

I've created this blog and online store as an outlet for this pent-up frustration...and also to have a little devious fun while I'm at it!

Have fun and keep it down while you're in here. Thanks.

Go ahead and stare.

By Randy | April 25, 2007

I hate it when people stare at other people for no apparent reason. I am usually pretty oblivious to it, but my wife will always pick up on the fact that someone is staring at us. We’re just regular people – not freakish. Quit staring, people! It’s rude and it gives me the heebie jeebies when you do it. I do find some enjoyment in staring back at you when I catch you staring. It got me wondering about why people do it, so I asked “Yahoo Answers.” This is what they said:

All kinds of reasons:
a) They could think your really hot and be mesmerized by your attractiveness.
b) They could be judging you. How you look, hold yourself (though I don’t think this is all that common).
c) They could be thinking you’re someone else
d) They may be daydreaming and only looking in your direction. Not actually staring at you, though it certainly feels like they are.
e) They may be impressed with your style of clothing or hair and wondering where you go t it and if it would look good on them.
f) They could be messing with you. Trying to freak you out.
g) Other serious reasons I don’t want to say here.
Most people stare harmlessly or unintentionally. Alot of the time they don’t even realize they’re doing it.

So there you go. I think I’ll go with answer “a” and leave it at that. Eat your heart out and stare away.
