11th of each month is “Queuing Up Day” in Beijing
By Randy | May 9, 2007
With the 2008 Beijing Olympics on the horizon, officials are doing their best to clean up Beijing citizen’s bad habits, including spitting, pushing and shoving in lines, allowing pets to relieve themselves in public and dodging traffic. “They are stubborn diseases that stain the image of the capital city,” Zi Huayun, the delegate, told the country’s English-language newspaper, China Daily. Also on the list; signs using bad English, smoking and foul language. The 11th of each month is offically designated as “Queuing Up Day” to help educate the population and to curb pushing and shoving in line.

Hi, my name is Randy Hill and I am just one of thousands of people around the world, tired and frustrated with the lack of consideration that is displayed by a growing "demographic" that I call, "the great unwashed and ill-mannered." People who can't seem to get outside their little world long enough to see the stress that they create on the rest of the population.
