About Me

Hi, my name is Randy Hill and I am just one of thousands of people around the world, tired and frustrated with the lack of consideration that is displayed by a growing "demographic" that I call, "the great unwashed and ill-mannered." People who can't seem to get outside their little world long enough to see the stress that they create on the rest of the population.

I've created this blog and online store as an outlet for this pent-up frustration...and also to have a little devious fun while I'm at it!

Have fun and keep it down while you're in here. Thanks.

[When Randy isn't whining about noisy and rude people, he dreams up designs in his studio at Hill Design Studios. A native Texan, Randy resides in the wilds of the Pacific Northwest with his wife Dawn and four cats]

People who forget to turn off cell phones in movie theaters are dumb

By Randy | May 14, 2007

It’s a long headline I know, but it perfectly describes our trip to the movies last night. We went to see “Blades of Glory” (which is hilarious by the way) last night. I noticed as you walk into the movie theater, there’s a little sign hosted by Cingular that says, “Please let the actors talk – turn off your cell phone” or something like that. Then, mixed with the previews was another couple of commercials reminding folks to turn off their cell phones.

Wouldn’t you know it? A few minutes into the movie, a cell phone started ringing right behind us. I couldn’t believe it. It took every bit of my strength not to stand up and ask this person if she was born an idiot or was she just practicing?

What do you think?
