Bookstore manners question solved
By Randy | May 20, 2007
In regards to my last post, I spoke with a Borders Bookstore employee last night and asked if they preferred that the customer put away the magazine or book themselves when they are finished looking at it, or let the Borders employee put it back instead. Here’s the official reply: “If you remember where you originally picked up the book, it would help us out a lot if you could put it back. If not, then we will be happy to put it back for you.”
So, there you go. If you know where you got it from, take it back. Try not to leave stacks of books, magazines and trash for someone else to pick up after you leave.
