Regal fights poor customer etiquette with new device
By Randy | June 1, 2007
Regal Entertainment Group has been testing a wireless device in 14 theaters to help to alert theater management when disruptions or piracy occurs.
“We have noticed over the years that customer etiquette has become more and more of a problem,” says Dick Westerling, Regal’s senior vice president of marketing and advertising. “We’re doing what we can to provide a friendly environment for all moviegoers.”
This week Regal will be rolling out the device to 114 theaters. Customers are selected from the Regal’s Loyalty Points Program.
