About Me

Hi, my name is Randy Hill and I am just one of thousands of people around the world, tired and frustrated with the lack of consideration that is displayed by a growing "demographic" that I call, "the great unwashed and ill-mannered." People who can't seem to get outside their little world long enough to see the stress that they create on the rest of the population.

I've created this blog and online store as an outlet for this pent-up frustration...and also to have a little devious fun while I'm at it!

Have fun and keep it down while you're in here. Thanks.

[When Randy isn't whining about noisy and rude people, he dreams up designs in his studio at Hill Design Studios. A native Texan, Randy resides in the wilds of the Pacific Northwest with his wife Dawn and four cats]

Try a little patience on the street

By Randy | June 22, 2007

I am growing desperately weary of the behavior of people when they get in their cars and get out on the road. Something happens between the front door of their home and the front seat of their car. Some kind of disconnect.

Things you wouldn’t dream of doing in a public setting, sans car, somehow become okay within in the confines of the little universe that is your car.

Cutting in front of a person in traffic when the other driver is dangerously close really irks me. It happens all the time where we live. Inevitably I’ll be driving down the street and someone will come barreling out of a parking lot and pull out right in front of me at the very last possible second.

Tailgating…Now this really gets me angry. I desperately hate having someone’s car hood riding on my butt. The evil side of me wants to slam on my brakes and claim I saw “something” in the road. Then the angel on the other shoulder tells me it’s not worth the hassle, besides being dishonest.

So…Let’s hear from you. What is your traffic pet peeve?
