About Me

Hi, my name is Randy Hill and I am just one of thousands of people around the world, tired and frustrated with the lack of consideration that is displayed by a growing "demographic" that I call, "the great unwashed and ill-mannered." People who can't seem to get outside their little world long enough to see the stress that they create on the rest of the population.

I've created this blog and online store as an outlet for this pent-up frustration...and also to have a little devious fun while I'm at it!

Have fun and keep it down while you're in here. Thanks.

[When Randy isn't whining about noisy and rude people, he dreams up designs in his studio at Hill Design Studios. A native Texan, Randy resides in the wilds of the Pacific Northwest with his wife Dawn and four cats]

Reader: “Society as a whole is getting ruder and ruder.”

By Randy | July 17, 2007

The latest reader rant:

I think society as a whole is getting ruder and ruder. Usually the rudest people I ever encounter are those in cars. They cut you off, flip your off then keep on their way. But, now they are getting personal. I can count on both my hands and a few of my toes the amount of people that I’ve said excuse me to, or just hello to and they looked me square in the face and kept on doing what they are doing.

I don’t know. I was raised with manners. I was taught to respect people and you should get respect back. Now, I know I’m very nice and I’ve been told by several people, that I’m too nice. I’m starting to believe it now.

Can you ever be too nice? I don’t think so. Keep up your attitude of grace S.L. We need more people in the world who are willing to go against the way society is heading! RH
