About Me

Hi, my name is Randy Hill and I am just one of thousands of people around the world, tired and frustrated with the lack of consideration that is displayed by a growing "demographic" that I call, "the great unwashed and ill-mannered." People who can't seem to get outside their little world long enough to see the stress that they create on the rest of the population.

I've created this blog and online store as an outlet for this pent-up frustration...and also to have a little devious fun while I'm at it!

Have fun and keep it down while you're in here. Thanks.

[When Randy isn't whining about noisy and rude people, he dreams up designs in his studio at Hill Design Studios. A native Texan, Randy resides in the wilds of the Pacific Northwest with his wife Dawn and four cats]

Shopping Line Prep – 3 Rules

By Randy | November 21, 2007

With the insane shopping season bearing down on us, I thought it might be helpful to post a few gentle reminders for our more brain-dead fellow human beings.

Rule #1

If the sign says, “Ten Items of Less,” don’t drag up half the store in your shopping cart. Nothing will start a fight quicker.

Rule #2

After you load all your items on to the conveyor belt, take the little divider thing (see it there on the side?) and put it between your things and the next person’s things. It’s really pretty easy, isn’t it?

Rule #3

Have your check written out before you get to the cashier. Or, if it’s cash your using, take it out of your wallet and have the right amount ready. There’s nothing worse than waiting for someone to pay who has waited until the last available second to get their act together!
