About Me

Hi, my name is Randy Hill and I am just one of thousands of people around the world, tired and frustrated with the lack of consideration that is displayed by a growing "demographic" that I call, "the great unwashed and ill-mannered." People who can't seem to get outside their little world long enough to see the stress that they create on the rest of the population.

I've created this blog and online store as an outlet for this pent-up frustration...and also to have a little devious fun while I'm at it!

Have fun and keep it down while you're in here. Thanks.

[When Randy isn't whining about noisy and rude people, he dreams up designs in his studio at Hill Design Studios. A native Texan, Randy resides in the wilds of the Pacific Northwest with his wife Dawn and four cats]

The Inside Voice Song

By Randy | May 8, 2007

I wasn’t able to pull up the sound file because of some Firefox problem but I dig the lyrics! Here’s “Inside Voice” by Geof Johnson from his “Songs For Teaching” CD. Listen to the song here and buy the album here.

Inside Voice by Geof Johnson

There’s a time and a place for everything,
A time to talk and a time to sing
Time to whisper and a time to shout.
Come and let me show you what it’s all about.

Say shh! Use your inside voice
Shh! Use your inside voice
Shh! Shh!

Say yeah! Use your outside voice
Say yeah! Use your outside voice
Yeah! Use your outside voice.

I love to go to the library
They have a lot of really good books for me.
But you can’t shout and you can’t run,
That’s where you have some quiet fun.

Say shh! Use your inside voice
Shh! Use your inside voice
Shh! Shh!

Say yeah! Use your outside voice
Say yeah! Use your outside voice
Yeah! Use your outside voice.

I love school, it’s really, really great.
I get up early so I won’t be late.
I try to be quiet when I’m in line,
Raise my hand in circle time.

Say shh! Use your inside voice
Shh! Use your inside voice
Shh! Shh!

Say yeah! Use your outside voice
Say yeah! Use your outside voice
Yeah! Use your outside voice.
